MEP Design Engineer | £55,000 + £5,000 Car Allowance | Leicester | M&E | Perm
We’re looking for an MEP Design Engineer to join a mechanically biased regional M&E contractor delivering projects across the Midlands.
The business works across a genuinely varied portfolio, including commercial, industrial, heritage and education projects, and needs somebody capable of supporting the design and technical delivery of its building services schemes.
This would suit somebody with a strong understanding of mechanical building services design, but with enough wider MEP knowledge to work across coordinated projects and liaise effectively with electrical teams, consultants, clients and delivery teams.
Rather than sitting purely on the consultancy side of design, you'll be working within a contractor environment where designs ultimately need to work in the real world - technically, commercially and from an installation perspective.
We are looking for somebody with:
- Mechanical building services design experience
- Good wider understanding of coordinated MEP systems
- Experience working across commercial building projects
- The ability to work alongside both pre-construction and delivery teams
- Strong technical and communication skills
The position offers £55,000 + £5,000 car allowance, 24 days' holiday plus Bank Holidays.
